President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 sets out clear expectations for local government, emphasising servant leadership, efficient service delivery, and measurable impact at the ward level. Councillors are urged to be visible, accountable, and innovative—qualities that Minister Machakaire highlighted in his praise for Machemedze.
The Christmas goodies distribution at Ngoni Stadium not only brought festive cheer to Norton’s most vulnerable but also spotlighted the transformative power of dedicated local leadership.
As Minister Machakaire noted, Clr Machemedze’s example is one that should inspire councillors nationwide to rise to the Vision 2030 challenge—delivering tangible, lasting change for their communities.
