There is a dubious political scientist by the name of Ibbortson Mandaza.
I have decided to term him dubious character because so often a time the good doctor has missed the plot in his political analysis.
The once famed Southern African Political and Economic Analysis (SAPES) has its gloss, rendering this former mighty institution’s reverence a nullity.
Mandaza has dealt this research institution a major blow due to his excessive craving of the United States dollar which has seen him championing the cause of his paymasters instead of merely doing the ethical, which is to provide insightful analysis on an subject matter brought before SAPES.
Now his preoccupation (Mandaza) is to malign Zanu PF politically whenever he is given a platform or whenever he gives his commentary on any subject political. This last week Mandaza had another bad day in office when for umpteenth time he showed his true political colours which are obviously imperialistic at heart.
In the Zimbabwean context if Mandaza is not part of the various Movements for Democratic Change formations which threaten to divide till they reach more than a dozen entities, then he has an affinity for the doomed Simba Makoni project which is slowly but in real terms suffering its natural death.
In Mandaza’s flawed reasoning, Zanu PF’s internal democratic processes such as the recent political realignment is an exercise which depicts undemocratic practices, a wayward comment which amply demonstrates his growing irrelevance in the political commentary arena.
Instead of Mandaza opening his filthy mouth, he would rather shut up. Mandaza displays ignorance and arrogance which have led some to doubt his academic credentials.
Mandaza plainly shows pain which is indicative of deep-seated hatred of Zanu PF and its heroic leadership which sacrificed life and limp for the liberation of the country.
Mandaza had all the possible positive plaudits for Zanu PF and its leadership during the time when he thought its policies served well his personal interests. The moment the party intensified its pro-people agenda, that is land reclamation exercise and the broad empowerment crusade, the likes of Ibbo and like-minded personalities embarked on a frenzied attack on the revolutionary party, ZANU-PF, in a bid to halt this revolutionary momentum.
All these spears were aimed at the party in a move meant to tarnish its name and derail progress achieved this far.
The Western world poured in millions in their doomed illegal regime-change plot.
The now confused and controversial Mandaza is a beneficiary of these filthy and evil United States dollars which were poured into a bottomless pit by these agitated forces.
The growing realisation by these political turn-coats that their preferred opposition elements will never ever have a taste of political power in Zimbabwe given the impeccable political values and tradition embodied by the revolutionary party, ZANU-PF, their disillusionment has turned into commotion and despondency which will lead to endless political suicides from these regime-change agents.
ZANU-PF possesses the qualities which the Zimbabwean voter wants to be associated with. The party, Zanu PF, liberated the country from the yoke of colonialist subjugation.
Its ears and eyes are deeply entrenched on the ground to elicit and solicit the people’s views so as to ensure that it is only their wish which will be undertaken.
The recent calls by the incoming ZANU-PF Women’s League Secretary, the First Lady, Amai Dr Grace Mugabe, to reinvigorate and solidify the party by cleansing it of evil and malcontent characters has further opened new horizons and opportunities for the party which hitherto had been unheard of.
The refreshing and reassuring entrance of Dr Mugabe into the political arena has taken the imperialists and their acolytes by surprise as her coming in has made ZANU-PF cement its dominance in the theatre of politics. Dr Mugabe’s denunciation of corrupt tendencies by the top echelons of the party and amongst the rank and file has endeared her to the masses as the scourge of corruption is a cancer which threatens to erode the gains which the country has had till now under the leadership of ZANU-PF.
This vice of corruption is now an international pandemic which needs to be urgently uprooted if humanity is to survive the ignominy of extinction.
This momentous development in ZANU-PF which has seen Dr Mugabe becoming one of the leaders in Zanu PF has sent tremors in the white world which views her massive political support as an affront to their commercial interests.
The likes of Mandaza have a herculean task to provide answers to their sponsors who now question their analysis which have been contradicted by the reality on the ground, which simply shows a ZANU-PF juggernaut which will sweep all the parliamentary seats in the 2018 elections.
Certainly if you can’t overcome them, it is only reasonable to join them.
I have emphasised times without number that ZANU-PF is a repository of wisdom and potent tact ready to be unleashed whenever seasons dictate for such an eventuality.
Pity on you Ibbo!
