Zanu PF Harare Province holds inter-district meeting in Epworth

The Zanu PF Harare Province is holding the fifth interdistrict meeting at Epworth High School Grounds to give conference feedback to more than 40 000 party supporters and affiliate organisations.

Zone 5 consists of Epworth, Mabvuku, Hatfield and Waterfalls.

Among those in attendance are Zanu PF Secretary for Education, Research and Ideology, Cde Charles Tawengwa; Secretary for War Veterans, Cde Douglous Mahiya; Zanu PF Council of Elders member, Cde Idah Mashonganyika; Zanu PF Women’s League

Secretary for External Affairs, Cde Betty Kaseke; Deputy Secretary for Economic Affairs, Cde Andy Mlanga and Zanu PF Provincial chairman, Cde Godwills Masimirembwa.

Mabvuku-Tafara legislator Cde Scott Sakupwanya, Presidential Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara and businessman Mr Obey Chimuka are also in attendance.

Newly co-opted Central Committee members Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei and Cde Takawira Mashonganyika are also at the meeting and will be introduced to party members.

In an interview, Cde Masimirembwa said the interdistrict meetings are also part of the ruling party’s mobilisation strategy.

“We are here to give conference feedback to party members as we work with the mantra of leaving no one and no place behind.

“We came up with a number of resolutions which will guide the party and the Government to ensure that the well-being of the people is improved.

“This is also part of our mobilisation strategy,” he said.
