ZANU PF has reaffirmed its position as a pace-setter at this year’s Agricultural Show, unveiling a modern exhibition stand that underscores the party’s commitment to advancing agriculture under the leadership of President Mnangagwa.

Speaking at their exhibition stand at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa said the focus is to demonstrate how various age groups are contributing to the ongoing agricultural renaissance sweeping across the country.

Zanu PF, he said, will welcome President Mnangagwa and his esteemed guest, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, during the exhibition today

“Our thrust is mainly on agriculture as this is an agricultural show, and we also intend to show how different generations are part of the transformation taking place under the leadership of President Mnangagwa,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.

He highlighted the strides being made in the sector through the application of modern, scientific methods of production, a vision epitomised by the President at his acclaimed Pricabe Farm.

The party, he said, was at the forefront of championing such innovation and encouraging citizens to embrace the opportunities being created. The party will also take the opportunity to recruit new members

Cde Mutsvangwa revealed that membership cards will be available on the final day of the exhibition, urging members of the public to visit the stand, engage with officers, and learn more about the party’s programmes.

Cde Mutsvangwa said the party was confident of retaining the top award once again, saying its state-of-the-art stand reflected the modernisation drive spreading across the nation and invited Zimbabweans to witness first-hand the progress being made.

He said over and above going digital, the party was emphasising on economic empowerment and has economic departments, which are exhibiting, narrating and giving information on what the party is doing to ensure that Vision 2030 is achieved.

“We are properly guided. We also have our various wings as guided by the Commissariat, such as our Women’s League, War Veterans’ League and Youth League,” he said.

“There is a lot of innovation in our stand with the help of youngsters within the party to portray the Education 5.0 policy that the Government is pursuing, which is about innovation in a practical way. So, we are very excited as a ruling party to exhibit here.”

Some of the organisations exhibiting in the Zanu PF Hall are Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology, Miners4ED and Young Women4ED among others.
