Zanu PF Harare Province is holding an inter-district meeting at Gwanzura Stadium to provide feedback from the ruling party’s conference to party members in Zone 2.
Zone 2 comprises Highfield, Glenview, Budiriro, Glen Norah, and part of Mufakose Ward 34.
The inter-district meeting is also intended to introduce newly co-opted Central Committee members Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei and Cde Taka Mashonganyika.
Gwanzura Stadium is full to capacity.
In attendance are Cdes Omega Hungwe, Zanu PF Politburo member; Cde Charles Tavengwa, Zanu PF Secretary for Education, Research and Ideology; Cde Idah Mashonganyika, member of the Zanu PF Council of Elders and Cde Tendai Chirau, Deputy Secretary for Security.
Cde Betty Kaseke, Women’s League Secretary for External Affairs; Presidential Advisor Paul Tungwarara; provincial chairman Cde Godwills Masimirembwa; his deputy Cde Ephraim Fundukwa; and former Harare provincial Political Commissar Cde Shadreck Mashayamombe are also in attendance.
