Zanu-PF holds meetings

THE Zanu-PF leadership in Bulawayo and Matabeleland North provinces meets this weekend to discuss a number of issues affecting the running of the party and the implementation of the country’s economic blue-print, Zim-Asset.The leadership from Matabeleland North will meet at Elangeni Training Centre in Bulawayo today and tomorrow while Bulawayo province will hold its meeting tomorrow at the provincial headquarters, Davies Hall.

Zanu-PF Mat-North provincial chairman Cde Richard Moyo said party national chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo would officially open tomorrow’s meeting.

“This is an induction meeting for the province meant to conscientise party members about party rules, leadership roles and our thrust,” he said.

“We will have facilitators from head office and national chairman Cde Khaya Moyo will be the guest of honour. All provincial executive members in the main wing, the youth and women’s league, Politburo, Central Committee, the National Consultative Assembly and top three in the war veterans should attend.”

He said the meeting would start at 10AM today and end tomorrow morning.
