Zanu PF Mashonaland East chairperson Cde Daniel Garwe has called for extensive resource mobilisation—monetary and material—for the 2025 National People’s Conference scheduled for October at Mutare Polytechnic.

Addressing members of the Mashonaland East provincial executive committee (PEC) at the party offices in Marondera over the weekend, Cde Garwe emphasised the need for each province to meet its resource targets.

He expressed confidence in the province’s commitment to supporting the party.

“Our province is blessed with people who are always willing to contribute towards the revolutionary party,” he noted, highlighting the generous donation from Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga.

Cde Garwe urged others in the province to adopt a similar spirit of giving.

To facilitate donations, a team led by the provincial vice chairperson will be dispatched to seek contributions, armed with official letters from Cde Garwe’s office to prevent unauthorised solicitation.

He also encouraged party members to uphold their strong tradition of support for the party, asserting that with collective effort, they can not only meet but exceed the set targets for the conference.
