“We are still working on the numbers and composition of attendance. These are the preliminary meetings,” said Cde Bimha.
“We will be meeting various committees in Gweru today to plan, our national chairperson Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri will preside over the meeting”.
Recommendations from the meeting would be taken forward to the Politburo and the Presidium for finality.
The National People’s Conference will be presided over by the Zanu PF First Secretary and President Cde Mnangagwa and will be attended by delegates from all provinces.
The Bindura conference was held under the theme, “Growing and Modernising the Economy towards Vision 2030”.
The Conference discussed among other things, the state of the party, state of the economy, food security and nutrition, social services and poverty eradication, macroeconomic stability and re-engagement, infrastructure development and utilities as well as value addition and beneficiation.
