Zanu PF registers 4m voters

ZANU PF now has more than four million eligible voters on its cell registers, a senior official has said.

Writing on his official Twitter handle, party secretary for administration Cde Obert Mpofu said Zanu PF was aiming to add another one million prospective voters to its cell register before this year’s elections.

The country will hold elections around mid-year, which the party wants to win by a wide margin.

“Confirmed, Zanu PF now has more than four million members who registered to vote. Thanks to the cell verification exercise, each registered head has been counted. We are a door away from the five million voter target!” Mpofu said.

The party is on a membership recruitment exercise countrywide, targeting to garner five million votes in the upcoming polls. – New Ziana.
