THE Zanu-PF provincial elections ad-hoc committee yesterday set up the teams that will conduct elections in the remaining seven provinces to be held on November 23.
In a statement Zanu-PF national chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo said the teams and chairmen of the respective provinces should report at the party’s headquarters on Monday.
“The ad-hoc committee is hereby releasing names of members of the Politburo and Central Committee to supervise the elections. The said members including the seven provinces must report to party headquarters on Monday, 18 November, 2013 at 10 am,” Cde Khaya Moyo said.
In Harare the team will be led by Cde Sikhanyiso Ndlovu and will comprise of Cde Josiah Hungwe (Zone 1), Cde George Rutanhire (Zone 2), Cde J Gumpo (Zone 3), Cde David Chapfika (Zone 4), Cde Joel Biggie Matiza (Zone 5)and Cde T Mukusha (Zone 6).
Cde Obert Mpofu will lead the team supervising Mashonaland East elections and the members will include Cde Tshinga Dube (Goromonzi District), Cde Mandy Chimene (Chikomba District), Retired General Mike Nyambuya (Murehwa District), Cde Richard Chirongwe (Mudzi District), Cde Patrick Chinamasa (UMP District), Cde Esau Mupfumi (Mutoko District), Cde Edna Madzongwe (Seke District), Cde O Maluleke (Wedza District) and Cde Richard Ndlovu (Marondera District).
In Mashonaland West Cde Dzikamai Mavhaire will lead the teams whose members are Cde Abigail Damasane (Zvimba District), Cde Tsitsi Muzenda (Makonde District), Cde Noah Mangondo (Hurungwe), Cde Herbert Murerwa (Kariba District) Cde Sithembiso Nyoni (Kadoma District), Cde Munacho Mutezo (Chegutu District) and Cde Flora Bhuka (Ngezi District).
In Masvingo the teams will be led by Cde Nicholas Goche and include Cde Saviour Kasukuwere (Bikita District), Cde Jabulani Malinga (Masvingo District), Cde Lazurus Dokora (Gutu District), Cde Douglas Mombeshora (Chivi District), Cde Angeline Masuku (Chiredzi District), Cde Nyasha Chikwinya and Cde Joseph Chinotimba (Mwenezi District).
Cde Sydney Sekaramayi leads Matabeleland North team which include Cde Tendai Savanhu (Lupane District), Cde Jorum Gumbo (Binga District), Cde Sylvester Nguni (Hwange District), Cde Tambudzani Mohadi (Nkayi District), Cde Kotsho Dube (Bubi District) and Cde Mike Gava (Umguza District).
Cde David Parirenyatwa will lead the team in Matabeleland South that comprise of Cde Kudakwashe Bhasikiti (Umzingwane District), Cde Olivia Muchena (Gwanda District), Cde Kudzai Chipanga (Beitbridge District), Cde Joseph Made (Mangwe District), Cde Cain Mathema (Bulilima), Cde Hubert Nyanhongo (Insiza District) and Cde Samuel Mugande (Matobo District).
In Bulawayo the team will be led by Cde Ignatius Chombo and include Cde Charles Tavengwa (Zone 1), Cde Virgina Katyamaenza (Zone 2), Cde Monica Mutsvangwa (Zone 3), Cde Cephas Msipa (Zone 4), Cde Edison Chakanyuka (Zone 5).
The national command centre will be manned by Cde Khaya Moyo, Secretary for Administration, Cde Didymus Mutasa, National Political Cde Webster Shamu, Secretary for Women’s Affairs, Cde Oppah Muchinguri and Cde Absolom Sikhosana the Secretary for Youth Affairs.
The revolutionary party has conducted elections in Midlands, Manicaland and Mashonaland Central that have been marred by a number of irregularities.
