Zanu PF wins Gokwe-Kabuyuni seat

ZANU PF has retained the Gokwe-Kabuyuni Constituency.

Zanu PF candidate Cde Spencer Tshuma garnered 10 727 votes against CCC’s candidate Costin Muguti’s  4 800 in by-elections held yesterday.

Over 14 000 voters cast their vote in a very peaceful election process.

President Mnangagwa fixed August 27 as the date for the by-election after the death of Cde Leonard Chikomba.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission set up 53 polling stations to ensure a smooth voting process.
