She is a highly ambitious businesswoman, but you will be forgiven for dismissing her at face value.

An unassuming, yet witty modern-day entrepreneur, Farai Beaular Munemo, or simply Farie, as she is widely known in her business circles, has set her sights on building a game-changer aesthetics and IV Bar company, which is fast making a name in the local industry.

A qualified aesthetician, the trailblazing beauty and image building enthusiast has built Zarrow Aesthetics from humble beginnings and is happy to be counted amongst some of the leading beauty companies in Zimbabwe.

“I love looking good and I believe Zimbabwe and Africa is blessed with some of the most beautiful women around,” she said in an interview. “If it’s not our outward beauty, then its our inner beauty as demonstrated through our motherly instincts and the ability to build and nurture families and communities even in the face of challenges.

“Zarrow Aesthetics is thus my way of building the Zimbabwean and African women through answering to whatever skin and body challenges they may have.

“We have tailor made and market tested products and services that are making a big difference in society. We are bringing the Zimbabwean and African woman’s confidence back through our work.”

Of their services, Farie said they are as broad as possible and draw their inspiration from giving the best service possible on the market.

“We offer an extensive range of services, including state-of-the-art skin renewal treatments as well as non-invasive body contouring procedures, laser treatments, and rejuvenating facials and massages,” she said.

“Our utmost satisfaction lies in achieving exceptional outcomes for our esteemed clients. We are dedicated to eliminating any beauty-related concerns or obstacles that may hinder our clients from reaching their desired goals.”

Speaking to The Herald on Saturday Lifestyle, the happily married mother of three said while a number of beauty and image building companies and service providers are mushrooming, it is important to go for licensed and professional companies.

“Because women are wary of their looks and image, so many individuals and companies are tapping into opportunities in the beauty and image building industry but it is important that they engage professional and licensed service providers in the process,” she said.

“At Zarrow Aesthetics and IV Bar, we are professional company that specialises in facials, body treatments and contouring, massages, pedicures and manicures among other tailor-made services and we are already exploring new innovations and promotions as we entrench our position in the market.”

The affable businesswoman said she has invested in research and travel with a view to explore and experience the diversified practices and services in her sector.

“A woman is as beautiful and confident as she feels and we are investing in products and services that aid how women and all our clients feel. Every trade has its dynamics and associated risks but we are geared to give our all and last the distance,” she said.

“Beyond skills and qualifications, I have deliberately invested in research and travel with a view to accustom myself to the intricate tenets of the trade. We are not leaving anything to chance as we seek to provide quality and unparalleled services to the market.”

Farie said her faith had a lot of bearing on her business conduct and general perception of life.

“I am a happily married mother of three kids Clowe, Kayla and Royale aged 9, 7 and 1 and these together with my faith inspire me to excel and face whatever challenges come my way. I am also a devout Christian and full-time member of the AFM in Zimbabwe.

“I am actually inspired by the many challenges that I have faced growing up and even in setting up this business. Those changed my perspective on life and made me more resolute. The goal is to get better with each passing day and I am encouraged by my strides to date,” Farie said.

With over five years of experience in the sector, the passionate businesswoman said she was equipped for the industry’s challenges and is building a legacy brand that will outlive her.

“I boast of over five years’ experience in this sector though Zarrow Aesthetics was established in 2021. I had a lot of experience working with other brands that helped me horn my skills in the sector and that equipped me for the challenges I am facing now.”

Farie said she was building a legacy brand that will far outlive herself.

“Thanks to Zarrow Aesthetics’ professionalism and consistency, they have won the hearts of many and have become one of the leading players in their sector,” she said.

“We are operating in a generally challenging environment but that has not stopped our resolve. We believe we are a fast-rising market leader and we want to build a legacy brand that sustains beyond the founder. We are building a professional enterprise not some fly by night hustle,” she said.

Born and bred in Warren Park, Farie, did not allow her upbringing to derail her dreams and is successfully running her business domiciled at a comely location in Greendale, Harare.

“We believe every job that comes our way is a good opportunity to showcase our pedigree and prove our mettle even in the face of widespread competition from other players,” she said.

“We boast of unparalleled customer experience and we will continue aspiring to be the best and giving the best service possible.”

Responding to associated risks of the trade given that skin and treatments are delicate, she said they have always trodden carefully but hinted there are instances when things can go wrong but professionalism counts at the end of the day.

“Skin and body treatment is a delicate undertaking with associated risk depending with how a client’s skin may react to the agreed procedures but we have always fought to give the best service possible.

“We however try to apply due diligence so that we minimize risk. We have had unfortunate incidents with clients and given how we all value our skin and looks things can go out of hand. In all this we continue to respect our clients and explore the best ways possible to seek recourse,” she said.

As the year draws to an end, the affable businesswoman said her company was exploring exciting promotions to reward their clients and make their services more affordable to all.

“We believe the customer is king and we must at all times aspire to give them the best deals and experience possible. This festive season we are lining up some amazing promotions to give our clients the affordable products and services,” she said.

“We must look and feel good, especially at a time we are celebrating the season of giving. We are giving away some quality services and promotions for the benefit of our clients.”

Farie hinted on some charity donations under the annual Brands that Care drive.

“The Bible says giving to the needy is loan to God and he in turn will reward you accordingly. We are therefore joining the annual Brands that Care Christmas Cheer at a home in Stoneridge,” she said.

“We will be donating a consortium of both food and non-food relief items to the home which houses over 20 kids. The hope is that we continue giving more as God blesses us.”
