BULAWAYO-based entertainment brand Zaza Nation Entertainment is targeting bigger stages across Zimbabwe after performing at the Southern Africa’s Finest showcase held at The Hangout BAC on Saturday.

Organised by Nqoza Entertainment, the 17 October event brought together artistes from Zimbabwe and South Africa, providing a platform for performers to showcase their talent and connect with audiences.

Zaza Nation Entertainment founder Mthabisi Mgcini Moyo, popularly known as Tripple M, said the performance marked an important step in the group’s growth.

“Performing at Southern Africa’s Finest last Saturday was a great honour for Zaza Nation Entertainment. It was a big platform for us and the crowd response was amazing,” he said.

“For our growth, it means we are now being recognised beyond Bulawayo and we are ready for bigger stages across the country.”

The showcase featured several artistes and groups, including Bhila, Fab G Mtshana Kagogo, Insimbi ZeZhwane, Godolude, Zwelihle Jele, Zhezhingtons, Zinja Ziyamluma, Kha Kha Kha Band and South African artiste Jiki Jiki, among others.

Zaza Nation Entertainment performed separately from Jiki Jiki, as the artistes took turns to entertain audiences at the event.

The performance provided the Bulawayo-based brand with an opportunity to showcase its work alongside established performers from the region as it seeks to expand its presence in the entertainment industry.

Zaza Nation Entertainment focuses on music, live performances, artist development and promoting Zimbabwean talent, with ambitions to create more opportunities for emerging artistes.

The group expressed appreciation to everyone who attended and supported the event, saying the audience’s response had encouraged it to pursue further opportunities.

With its sights set on performances beyond Bulawayo, Zaza Nation Entertainment says it is determined to build its profile and connect with a wider audience.
