The show comes nearly a year after a similar one at the White City Stadium dubbed, Legends Concert that ZBCtv broadcast live. The live broadcast of the show will start at 9PM until 6AM the following day.

ZBC southern regional marketing manager Robson Masunda said the show was part of their mandate to promote local content.

“Our artistes have been complaining that they are not getting enough airplay on ZBCtv and radio stations. This show is a response to the complaints and we want the artistes to know that we are committed to promoting their works,” said Masunda.

He urged up-and-coming musicians to also come and feature at the show.

“Apart from the featured artistes, we’re inviting up-and-coming musicians to be part of the event,” said Masunda.

He said the show will start at 2PM to cater for children.

“It’ll be a family day out and we are inviting the business community to come and partner us in providing other services,” said Masunda.

He said during music interludes they were planning to give fashion designers a chance to showcase their designs.

“We’re still fine tuning that as we’re waiting for fashion gurus to approach us,”said Masunda.

He said they wanted to make the concert an annual event to promote  local artistes.
