ZDF embraces e-procurement

THE Zimbabwe Defence Forces is implementing digital procurement systems to enhance transparency and efficiency, a senior military official has said.
In her address during the closing ceremony of a four-day e-procurement seminar held in Mutare, Chief of Staff Support and Logistics, Major General Augustine Chiwere, who was represented by Air Commodore Christine Makuvire, said:
“There are major takeaways from this seminar we will present to the command element for their consideration and approval. E-procurement enhances efficiency and transparency. It also helps in doing away with cumbersome and bureaucratic paperwork.”
The theme of the seminar was: “Enhancing ZDF Proficiency and Accountability through E-Procurement Systems”.
