The Zimbabwe Defence Forces fully supports Government’s economic blueprint, the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation, which is expected to steer the economy, a senior official has said.
ZNA chief of staff responsible for quartermaster, Major General Douglas Nyikayaramba said this yesterday at the graduation ceremony of Zimbabwe Engineers Young Officers, Combat Engineer Class Two and Combat Engineer Class Three courses held at Pomona Barracks.
One hundred and fifty seven military engineers graduated after 11 months of training in combat engineering support courses, which included the Zimbabwe Engineer Young Officers, Combat Engineer Class Two and the Combat Engineer Class Three.
Maj Gen Nyikayaramba said Zanu-PF’s election victory led to the creation of a single Government that allowed policy coherence. “The Government now has Zim Asset which was formulated out of Zanu-PF’s July 31 election manifesto,” he said.
