Zesa CEO Chivaura dies

ZESA Holdings acting chief executive officer Engineer Patrick Chivaura died yesterday morning in Harare.

Energy and Power Development Minister Fortune Chasi announced his death through his Twitter handle.

“Sadly, Mr Chivaura, an eminent electrical engineer who served as acting chief executive officer at Zesa and was due to retire this month, passed on this morning. Highly professional, god-fearing, honest.

“May His Soul Rest in Peace,” said Minister Chasi.

Zesa spokesperson Mr Fullard Gwasira could not be reached to give details on Eng Chivaura’s passing.
