ZETDC meter data collection exercise to start this week in Harare

THE Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) will be conducting a meter data collection exercise from 26 February 2024 to 1 March 2024.

The power utility said the exercise will start in Malborough, Mount Pleasant, Dzivarasekwa, Fountain Ridge, and Tynwald South in Harare.

In a statement on X, ZETDC said, “They would like to advise its valued clients in Malborough, Mount Pleasant, Dzivarasekwa, Fountain Ridge & Tynwald South that the utility will be conducting meter data collection exercise from 26 February 2024 to 01 March 2024.”

ZETDC teams will be in their ZETDC-branded work suits and have official ID cards.

“Customers are not required to pay anything for this exercise”, reads the statement.
