ZIMBABWE Handball Federation secretary-general Edison Chirowodza says they will be unveiling their national teams’ kits this month in Harare.

The kits were donated by a Swiss company. It was facilitated by the Embassy of Switzerland in Zimbabwe.

“On the 21st of October there will be a kit unveiling at the Residence of the Swiss Ambassador. We have already received the goods and now we are just going to formally unveil the kits.

“It’s for our national teams. It includes training kits, match kits, playing shoes, back packs and balls. In terms of monetary value, it’s worthy over US$15 000. It’s quite huge.

“It was a donation through a Swiss company, for now they want to remain anonymous. It was facilitated through the Swiss Embassy in Zimbabwe,” said Chirowodza.

The ZHF secretary-general said the gesture will go a long in the development of handball in the country.

The national association is also working on resuming the regional leagues as they return to competition.
