THE Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has officially announced the appointment of Nyaradzo Maphosa as the new Vice-Chairperson of the Licensing Appeals Committee.

Maphosa is no stranger to the Hearing and Appeals Committee, having participated in and chaired several proceedings during her legal career spanning over 20 years.
She is a partner at one of the oldest law firms in Zimbabwe.

She presently serves, and has previously served, as a board member on several quasi-government and privately listed companies. Maphosa is also an international evangelist.

According to the Board, she has always been an avid sportswoman, having captained and competed in athletics, basketball, swimming, hockey, netball, and tennis from primary school through to university.

“She is passionate about sport and football, and has been loyal to certain local and international teams since primary school,” reads the statement.
