ZIFA Eastern Region board makes two new additions

FOLLOWING the January 25 elections, the ZIFA Eastern Region has made two additions to its board. Vice Chairman Simba Wisdom has taken over as the new chairman, while Benjamin Chindima, a Mutare-based administrator, has been appointed secretary-general.

In a letter to the ZIFA chief executive, regional administrator Fungai Munyoro-Chingaira announced the two new co-options of Simbarashe Mandishona and Rodgers Banda to the board.

“The Eastern Region has made two co-options to the Board. Masvingo United Football Club secretary SimbarasheMandishona comes in as a Board Member in charge of Marketing while Renco Mine Football Club secretary Rodgers Banda is the new Board Member in charge of Development,” reads the letter.
