ZIFA Manicaland back in office uncontested

FOOTBALL administration structures in Manicaland saw incumbents returning to serve for another term after emerging uncontested in a list of candidates for the regional elections released by the ZIFA Electoral Committee.
For Manicaland, chairperson Kuziwa Nyabeze is uncontested, together with vice-chairperson Gift “The Transporter” Mapinda, and board members Mariah Nyamubarwa, Innocent Mlilo, and David Chinenere.
Masvingo has chairperson Nabioth Magwizi returning to office uncontested, as well as vice-chairperson James Macheka.
The elections will see four board members for Masvingo being chosen from Mark Mlambo, Collins Munemo, Tinos Chivasa, Robson Kurwa, and Morelife Mapeture.
In Mashonaland East, there will be an election to choose between Oscar Irimayi Tsvuura and veteran journalist Jerold Sasa for the chairman’s post.
The vice-chairperson’s post will see Innocent Chinoza and Wellington Muchemwa contesting.
Manicaland, Masvingo, and Mashonaland East provinces make up the ZIFA Eastern Region.
