The clock now seems to be ticking faster as the countdown continues towards to the commemoration of independence day. Oh yeah, much sacrifices were made by our gallant sons and daughters, heroes and heroines of Zimbabwe who played a crucial role to liberate us against colonial regime. So its time to celebrate our total sovereignty! The African bread basket ambivalently enriched with mountains, gorges, monuments, rivers, forest and springs.
All these are jagors which can only reinforce the prefix of the term “Zimbabwe “.
Surely, surely nothing beats the feeling of being independent after being oppressed in the colonial regime era.
The gallant sons and daughters of Zimbabwe laid to us the foundation of total sovereignty, liberty, equality and fraternity to all Zimbabweans, as the freedom fighters experienced oppressions and tribulations from the white settlers.
There was no freedom of expression during that time.
Black people could not given right to vote nor get representation for their political views in their own country.
Zimbabwe faced social injustice.
There were restrictions in some streets in Harare where black people could not visit or pass through.
Zimbabweans were given unproductive lands and only the nobilities which were the whites owned productive lands.
Our people were deprived of their rights and privileges while the whites enjoyed the privileges to the fullest.
The white settlers brought al tyrannical ideas to our beautiful country.
Our freedom fighters fought for us, they liberated our country, they sacrificed for us to be free in Zimbabwe and they left indelible legacy which every Zimbabwean should remember.
Because of that, we now have the autonomous status and total sovereignty.
So they should be credited and given great honour for their work.
Zimbabweans are now enjoying rights and privileges, having productive lands, education for all which means everyone has a right to go to school.
How about patriotism? Is it not awesome?
The world of patriotism, the love of our own nation, our pride and our nation.
Our patriotic leader President RG Mugabe.
Is he not a blessing?
Was he not from the heavens?
Yes, he is and he was heavenly sent.
Cant we talk of democracy?
A nation free from autocracy. Hardworking in Zimbabwe is a virtue striving for a better tomorrow is our theme.
Hardest ever for self sufficient is our motto
NO Boko haram,NO xenophobia, NO civil unrest,NO natural hazards, NO political violations.
God granted our favour.
How proud are we to be born in Zimbabwe.
A nation of all and glory.
We surely salute our freedom fighters with the feeling of independence.
So Zimbabwe lets celebrate our 36 years of total sovereignty!!!!!!!!
