Health and Child Care Minister Douglas Mombeshora is leading the belated World Cancer Day commemorations at Chikangwe Stadium in Karoi, where stakeholders have gathered to raise awareness about cancer care and treatment.

The event is being held under the theme: “United by Unique,” which highlights the importance of personalised care and the life stories of those affected by cancer.

The theme also underscores the need for tailored treatments that address each individual’s unique needs.

As part of the commemorations, Minister Mombeshora has toured several exhibition stands showcasing the work of health-related organisations.

The event provides a platform for engagement between health professionals, cancer survivors, and the general public.

Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo is being represented at the event by provincial secretary Mr Josphat Jaji.
