Zim/EU sign €75 million financing agreement

Zimbabwe and the European Union have signed a €75 million financing agreement targeting various areas that include agriculture value chains, gender equality, bio-diversity and resilience, and governance issues.

The agreements were signed by Finance and Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube and the EU Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jobst von Kirchmann.

In his remarks, Prof Ncube thanked the EU for its support.

“I would like to thank the EU for its support which is in line with our development agenda as outlined in the NDS1,” he said.
