Zim Ninja Academy team off to Wales

THE Zim Ninja Academy team to take part at the International Combat Organisation (ICO) World Championships finally left for Wales on Wednesday led by renowned martial artist Wilfred Mashaya.

The tournament was scheduled to kick-off with the official opening on Wednesday, paving way for the actual competition that begins on Thursday.

They are fielding nine participants, mainly their young members aged between eight and 16. Mashaya is the only senior in the team.

Thandeka Moyo, Dean Gwatah, Anotida Hove and Anenyasha Hove will take part in the girls category while Wilfred Mashaya Jnr, Brian Mupindu Jnr, Takudzwa Chizema and Arnold Mudzengerere participate in the boys section.
