Zim U19 team beat Namibia in COSANA games

ZIMBABWE Under-19 netball team continued with their winning ways at the Confederation of Southern Africa Netball Associations (COSANA) Tri-Nations Cup when they beat Namibia 46-36 on Wednesday in Blantyre, Malawi.

It was their second game against Namibia at this competition having first met on Sunday.

The first quarter ended with the teams tied11-11 before Zimbabwe took the lead in the second quarter.

They went into half time leading 26-18. The third quarter ended 35-29 and Zimbabwe maintained their dominance in the last quarter to win 46-36.

The Under-19s have won all the three matches they have played so far including their game against Malawi on Tuesday.

The team is under the guidance of coach Simbarashe Mlambo.
