Zimbabwe football giants clash in first game of the season

ZIMBABWE football giants Highlanders and Dynamos will clash at Barbourfields Stadium on Match Day 1 of the 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, which kicks off during the weekend of March 2-3.

CAPS United also host Chicken Inn during the same weekend.

The Premier Soccer League released the fixtures on Thursday morning, even though the identity of the Eastern Region Division One champions is still not yet clear.

Either Bikita Minerals or Tenax will play in this year’s topflight.

ZIFA are yet to pass a verdict on which team will qualify from the Eastern Region after Tenax filed an appeal against Bikita Minerals’ promotion.

The Harare Derby featuring DeMbare and Makepekepe will be played on Match Day 12.

Highlanders will host FC Platinum in Week 11.

An interesting fixture between Dynamos and Simba Bhora is in Week Six.
