Zimbabwe Property Expo to be held in October

The Zimbabwe Property Expo, which was initially meant to take place early this month but was postponed due the Sadc Summit will now be held in October.

The expo, which is being organised by Premier Platform for Real Estate Innovation and Investment Africa Exhibition Group (Pty) Ltd, will now take place at the Celebration Centre in Harare on 4-5 October 2024.

In a press statement, the organisers said; “A Premier Platform for Real Estate Innovation and Investment Africa Exhibition would like to inform our valued customers and stakeholders that the Zimbabwe Property Expo, originally scheduled for 9-10 August 2024 at Celebration Centre in Harare, has been postponed to 4-5 October 2024 at the same venue.”

“The decision to reschedule was made due to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit in Harare, which took place from 8-17 August 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may have caused.”

The Expo is being hosted by the Africa Exhibition Group in partnership with the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe.

It will feature an Investment Seminar and Property Consumer Conference, with expert presentations on: Zimbabwe Property and Wealth Taxes Defined, Guidelines for Purchasing Residential/Commercial Land and Property – Phillips Law, Real Estate Investment Trusts Concept, Investment Opportunities in King City, Zim Cyber City, Fairview Estate, and Mt Hampden,  Property Rights under the New Marriage Act – Mageza Attorneys and Partners and The Role of the Central Bank in Property Management

Dr Tawafadza Makoni, non-executive chairperson of Africa Expo highlighted that, “In our relentless pursuit to put Zimbabwe and Africa on the international map through premier event solutions, Africa Exhibition Group is proud to present our flagship project: the Zimbabwe Property Expo. This ambitious initiative showcases Zimbabwe’s vast real estate potential to a global audience.”

Makoni added, “Our aim is to gain international recognition as the premier events solutions architect in Africa. By showcasing Africa’s best to the world, we aim to unlock the continent’s potential and herald a new era of collaboration.”
