Zimbabwe records 13 more cases of Covid – 19

ZIMBABWE has recorded 13 more new Covid-19 cases bringing the total number of cases in the country to 525.

According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care, 10 of the people who tested positive are returnees from South Africa and three are cases of people who were in contact with confirmed cases locally.

“As at June 23, 2020, Zimbabwe had 525 confirmed cases, including 64 recoveries and six deaths. Two the cases were recorded in Harare, eight in Manicaland, two and one in Matabeleland South provinces,” read the statement.

Bulawayo has 64 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Matabeleland South has 47 cases while Matabeleland North has 15 cases.
