LOCAL representatives in this year’s edition of the annual Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi Games did the nation proud by bringing home several medals from Lilongwe, Malawi.
The Games draw athletes from Universities, Polytechnics, Teachers’ Colleges, Colleges and Industrial Training Colleges who take part in different sporting disciplines.
The 144-member Zimbabwe team won 32 gold, 28 silver and 26 bronze medals.
Zimbabwe won the football gold medal.
The netball team also won gold after beating Zambia 41-22 and Malawi 41-29.
