Zimbabwe Warriors striker Macauley Bonne parts ways with Maldon & Tiptree

WARRIORS forward Macauley Bonne has parted ways with English non-league side Maldon & Tiptree following his return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Bonne joined the eighth-tier outfit in October last year after leaving National League side Southend United at the end of last season. The 30-year-old netted three goals in nine appearances for The Jammers, who are currently two points clear at the top of the Isthmian League North Division table.

Confirming his departure, the English eighth-tier club said: “Maldon & Tiptree F.C. can confirm that Courtney Senior and Macauley Bonne have both departed the club. We would like to thank them for their efforts during their time at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium and wish them both the very best for the future.”

Bonne featured for Zimbabwe in all three group matches at AFCON in Morocco and was handed a starting berth in the clash against Angola.
