Zimpapers driver Nyoka dies

Zimbabwe Newspapers senior driver, Mr Samson Nyoka, has died. He was 55. Mr Nyoka died yesterday morning at his home in Budiriro.
The deceased’s eldest son, Brian, said his father was diabetic and had hypertension.“He complained of stomach pains on Saturday upon his return from work. We took him to hospital where he was temporarily admitted as his sugar level was high. On Sunday we spent the day together. He then died yesterday morning as we were taking him for review,” said Brian.

He described his father’s death as a big loss to the family.

A post-mortem is expected to be carried out today.  Mr Nyoka’s body will lie in state today at his Budiriro residence before it is taken to his Shurugwi rural home for burial on Friday.

Mr Nyoka joined Zimpapers in 1982 before he became a senior driver.  He leaves behind a wife, four children and four grandchildren.
