Lions Club of Harare West will on February 26 hold a district dinner dance to raise funds for refurbishment of the St Giles Rehabilitation Centre children’s wards. The dinner will be at Rainbow Towers with tickets going for US$30 per person or US$300 for a table of 10. Mr Pat Mapanda, who is the district governor, will be the guest of honour. The district covers Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Mr Clever Mugadza, the regional manager of Lions Club, said tickets and pledge forms are available at Ratanje Shoe Shop along Robert Mugabe Road.
“We are targeting at least 150 corporate bodies and individuals to help in this fundraising drive. There shall be a raffle and auction where individuals will walk away with food and liquor hampers,” he said.
Lions Club of Harare West is a charitable organisation affiliated to Lions Club International and holds annual dinner dances to help the needy.
