VETERAN athletics writer Lovemore Dube was recognised by the National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe (Naaz) awards function staged in Bindura yesterday.
Dube, who serves as the Zimpapers Sports Hub deputy editor, received the veteran athletics journalist accolade. Dube conveyed proudly appreciation for the honour granted to him.
“I owe it to the team I work with and those before this generation who asserted Zimpapers as the leading media house in the coverage of athletics. “All the painstaking patience by people like Geshom Nyathi, Clemence Marijeni, David Ncube, Shaun
Orange and Clayton Peel is being rewarded, hoping athletics can leap to zennith heights for all of us to enjoy and celebrate,” said Dube.
