ZIMBABWE’S leading integrated media company, Zimpapers, is exhibiting at the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo as part of its commitment to promoting tourism, economic growth and national development through impactful storytelling and multimedia engagement.
The Expo provides an important platform for Zimpapers to engage with tourism stakeholders, showcase its diverse media portfolio and strengthen partnerships that support the growth of Zimbabwe’s tourism industry.
Zimpapers Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager, Mrs Pauline Matanda, said the company’s participation highlights its role in amplifying Zimbabwe’s tourism brand both locally and internationally.
“As Zimbabwe’s leading media organisation, Zimpapers is proud to participate at the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo. Tourism remains one of the country’s key economic drivers and through our extensive media platforms, we have a responsibility to showcase the beauty, culture, heritage and investment opportunities that Zimbabwe offers.”
Mrs Matanda said Zimpapers continues to leverage its newspapers, radio stations, television and digital platforms to support tourism promotion through compelling content and strategic campaigns.
“We recognise the important role media plays in shaping perceptions and driving interest in destinations. Through our platforms, we connect tourism brands with local, regional and international audiences, helping to promote Destination Zimbabwe and drive sector growth,” she said.
She added that the Expo offers valuable opportunities to build partnerships and engage directly with tourism players.
“Our presence here is not only about showcasing our products and services, but also about listening, learning and building meaningful partnerships with tourism operators, investors, hospitality players and policymakers. Together, we can tell authentic Zimbabwean stories that inspire travel and investment,” said Mrs Matanda.
The Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo brings together tourism operators, buyers, investors, government agencies and media representatives, creating opportunities for networking, business development and knowledge sharing.
