But insurance firms will be rewarded for exceptional customer service and innovative product development at the inaugural Insurance Awards.

BoldAds managing director Mr Simon Mapuranga, said the insurance sector is a critical component of any economy and the awards are meant to appreciate insurance firms that have withstood a difficult operating environment.

“The economic environment we are operating in requires that we are vigilant and strategic in all our efforts. This applies to the financial services sector and more so insurance in all its forms.

“As arms of the biggest media group in the country we found it pertinent to put together awards that recognise those doing sterling and commendable work in this vital sector,” said Mr Mapuranga.

“In selecting the venue to host these awards we also felt it important to stage them at the same time as all of industry is gathered in the City of Kings and Queens attending the 2019 edition of the ZITF. It is fitting that we are able to crown insurance royalty at such a time.”
