ZIMUTO HIGH SCHOOL KEEPS FLYING HIGH

ZIMUTO High School in Masvingo has maintained its long-standing shining academic prowess, achieving a 94 percent pass rate in the 2025 ZIMSEC O- Level results and a 99 percent pass rate in A-Level results.

The school, which is located about 16 kilometres north east of Masvingo city, was established in 1904 by the Berlin Missionary Society.

It was later transferred to the Dutch Reformed Church (now Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) in 1907.

Zimuto High School is known for maintaining impressive academic results over the years and has since produced notable alumni such as the late General Solomon Mujuru and Dr Johannes Marisa, among others.

With the RCZ as its responsible authority, Zimuto High School rides on its popular motto of Tinokwirira (Forever Upwards), while it values Christian ethos and high level discipline among both teachers and learners.

The School Development Committee (SDC), parents and staff at the mission-run school are demonstrating co-ordinated efforts to ensure a conducive learning environment prevails for learners.

On offer at the school are a wide range of subjects which include Commercials, Pure Sciences, Humanities and an array of extra-curricular activities such as softball, drummies and public speaking.
