Ziyambi calls for reforms to strengthen land market confidence

JUSTICE, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Honourable Ziyambi Ziyambi has called for legal and institutional reforms to strengthen confidence in Zimbabwe’s property market.
Speaking at the opening of the Zimbabwe National Land Conference in Vumba this morning, Minister Ziyambi said the Government is committed to reducing delays, strengthening safeguards against fraud and improving land tenure security.
He was represented by Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs Vimbai Nyemba.
Minister Ziyambi emphasised collaboration in developing well-planned, serviced and sustainable communities through reliable land registration and effective dispute resolution.
The conference brings together estate agents and property sector stakeholders, including delegates from Botswana, Rwanda and Zambia.
