“This school’s construction is due to efforts from the private sector and a lot of the material used has come from various companies,” Air Marshal Shiri said.
He said the computers would go a long way in introducing technology to the community and helping people to connect to the global world.
“People in the area hardly know what a computer looks like and this donation will mean that at least they become acquainted with technological trends taking place all over the world,” he said.
The school has since seen the construction of seven classroom blocks, an administration block, seven teachers’ houses while the headmaster’s and deputy headmaster’s houses are undergoing their final phases.
“The donation is quite handy. The area has survived the brunt of the war for so many years, starting from the liberation war and then after independence when the conflict in Mozambique tended to spill into the area,” Air Marshal Shiri said.
