ZOC hosts 7th graduation ceremony

THE Zimbabwe Olympic Committee’s Advanced Sport Management Course is expected to host a seventh graduation ceremony at their headquarters in Harare this afternoon.
The celebration is considered an important event on the ZOC calendar after the successful running of the ASMC since 2008.
This year 22 graduates from athletics, rugby, wrestling, Kyokushin Union of Zimbabwe, football, volleyball, hockey, basketball, gymnastics, Ministry of Sports,. Arts and Culture, and the Sports Commission are set to receive their diplomas.

Those from Chinhoyi University will receive their post-graduate diplomas issued by the International Olympic Committee through the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee.
ZOC  programmes’s officer Nomsa Mpofu-Moyo said  there has been a vast improvement  on governance issues within the national sports associations.
“After graduating, we encourage all to translate their acquired knowledge into performance results in their areas,” said Moyo.
