Zonke to perform at Tamia’s South Africa concert

South African platinum-selling artist Zonke will open the stage at Grammy-nominated R&B superstar Tamia’s concert in South Africa this Women’s Month.

“I am honoured to be joining Tamia on this special tour and to be part of a celebration that shines a spotlight on the power and influence of women through music.

“Tamia is an artist whose work has touched audiences across generations, and I look forward to sharing the stage with her and creating unforgettable moments for fans across South Africa,” said Zonke.

Known for her amazing vocals and dynamic stage presence, Zonke is no stranger to sharing the stage with international acts. Last year, she co-headlined a massive Women’s Day Celebration in Johannesburg alongside Anthony Hamilton and Joe Thomas.

Tamia will be performing in Mzansi for the third time, having last thrilled audiences in July 2023, and will now be taking on three cities.

“South Africa has always shown me so much love, and I’m incredibly excited to return this August,” said Tamia

“Performing during Women’s Month makes it even more special. I can’t wait to share these moments with my fans and celebrate the power of music together.”

The tour dates are:

August 5 and 6 – Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town

August 7 – Durban ICC, KwaZulu-Natal

August 10 – SunBet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria

Remoakantse Holdings is the promoter behind Tamia’s upcoming concerts in South Africa. Remoakantse Holdings recently hosted the Gauteng Soul and Jazz Concert, headlined by Kirk Whalum.

Later this year, Remoakantse Holdings is also bringing the “Ultimate R&B Experience Tour” to South Africa, featuring iconic artists like Brian McKnight, All-4-One, and SWV – IOL
