ZRP nabs two foreign nationals with 70kgs of marijuana at RGMI Airport

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested two foreign nationals at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International (RGMI) Airport who were caught with close to 70kgs of marijuana.

In a post, the police said the suspects, who were arriving from Thailand, were found in possession of four suitcases containing a substantial amount of loose skunky dagga.
“The suitcases contained “a total of 18.5 kilogrammes of loose skunky dagga in the first monarch suitcase, 17 kilogrammes in the second, 18.4 kilogrammes in the third, and 16 kilogrammes in the fourth.”
The total of the contraband is 69.9kgs.

The ZRP has not released the identities of the suspects, and further details are awaited. The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released in due course.
