ZSE top performer week to Wednesday 24 September

Willdale Limited manufactures and markets a range of clay brick products for the Zimbabwean building and construction sector. The company was founded in 1957 and was listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange in 2003 following a demerger from Mashonaland Holdings Limited.

Willdale is the only brick company listed on the ZSE.

Willdale Limited’s product range includes economy plaster, specialised ground solutions, and decorative building products such as window sills, faggots, and klompies. Its clay brick range comprises face bricks, semi-face bricks, common bricks, and paving bricks, which are suitable for walkways, patios, swimming pool surrounds, and garden landscaping. The company’s face bricks are available with a rustic, smooth, or brushed finish.

Nyasha Matonda has been the chief executive officer since 2014, having initially started as an executive director of the company. Nyasha holds a Master of Business Leadership Degree from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Engineering) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a member of the Management Committee (Mancom) of CIFOZ. He has won several awards in business leadership.
