BULAWAYO is buzzing as the 2025 Carling Black Label Zimbabwe Tertiary Institutions Sports Union (ZTISU) Games kick off on June 24, promising four days packed with fierce competition and explosive entertainment.
Hundreds of student-athletes from across Zimbabwe’s colleges and universities will battle it out in football, basketball, athletics, and more. However, this year the games are more than sport. It’s a cultural celebration that fuses sporting grit with top local music talent.
Opening night at White City Stadium will explode with crowd-favourites Ma9ine, Jnr Spragga, and DJ Tino firing up the stage.
The grand finale on June 27, dubbed the Champion Shutdown, will be lit by Zimdancehall heavyweight Enzo Ishall, high-energy Mzoe7, plus the hottest spin kings DJ Nospa and DJ Matewu ready to make the crowd sweat.
Mzoe7 promises fans a show packed with new music and serious dance moves. “Our fans are all champions,” he said. “Come ready to sweat in the name of sport and music!”
This year Bulawayo takes over hosting from Harare, and the games bring together the best of Zimbabwe’s tertiary institutions across multiple sports, from rugby to darts.
More than medals, the ZTISU Games are a stage for talent, teamwork, and Zimbabwean youth spirit.
Get ready, Bulawayo. The games are on and the party is about to explode!
