Zvimba District launches Pfumfudza/Intwasa

ZVIMBA District launched Pfumvudza/Intwasa at Nyaude Village, in Mashonaland West Province, where farmers were called upon to speed up land preparations to benefit from free inputs under the scheme.

According to an update by the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Chief Director of Agricultural Advisory and Rural Development Services Professor Obert Jiri represented Permanent Secretary Dr John Basera on the occasion while the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Hon Marian Chombo made her maiden appearance.

She assured that  Mashonaland West Province is committed to meeting the 2023/24 summer cropping targets. Farmers received a pack containing fertiliser, lime, seed-maize, and tick grease.
