Zvishavane residents treated to early Christmas

The biggest prize for the draw, running for the second year now, was a car, a Nissan March.
Most Zvishavane residents were ecstatic about the draw and paid tribute to the management team of Pote Supermarkets for coming up with such a fantastic event.

“This is exciting. We are all happy that everyone managed to walk home with a smile on their faces. We hope this is not the last time such a draw is going to be conducted,” said one ecstatic winner.
The big prizes were the Nissan March car, two refrigerators and lots of other consolation prizes that included 22 big kango pots.
Mrs Nesbetty Meble Sibanda was the winner of the grand prize, the Nissan March car.

Mrs Sibanda, a house wife from Makwasha suburb was overjoyed to be the biggest winner of the draw. She was handed over the keys of her brand new car immediately after the draw.
Mrs Sibanda entered the competition after spending $41 at one of Pote outlets.
“I had never really dreamt of owning a brand new car. I am so excited I cannot find the right words to express how happy I am,” said Mrs Sibanda who cried tears of joy.

Local Councillor, Mr Francis Murombedzi who was the guest of honour at the event commended Pote supermarket for their effort to give back to the community.
“The draw is a sign of how much the supermarket is committed to giving back to the community. This is inspiring and I hope management at Pote will keep up the good work,” he said.
Last year’s winner was Mr Mangwiro Matanga from Hillview in Zvishavane.
