A five-year-old girl has gone missing in Glen View, Harare, as the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) and the Zimbabwe Republic Police have placed more than 10 people on the missing persons list.

The whereabouts of Zoe Vimbainashe Chikonyora are still not known and her relatives have since filed a report at Harare Central Police Station. She was last seen playing with friends near her home recently. Police have appealed for anyone with information on the girl’s whereabouts to contact their nearest police station or Harare Central Police Station.

Zoe was living with her mother, Mrs Lorraine Chakanetsa, while her father Mr Willard Chikonyora is reportedly out of the country. Meanwhile, Tendai Chikore (33) was reported missing in Glen Norah A, Harare, where he was last seen on October 11 last year. A report was then made in November last year and his whereabouts are still known.

He was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit. According to the family, Chikore left home intending to go to Msasa where he was studying carpentry at a vocational school, but did not return home.
