The 10 new Senators who were recently nominated by President Mnangagwa following the enactment of Constitutional Amendment Act No.3 into law have been sworn into office this Tuesday.
The Senators took their oaths of office this afternoon before the Clerk of Parliament, Mr Kennedy Chokuda, as required by law.
The 10 are Jabulani Sibanda, Mary Mliswa, Nokhutula Matsikenyere, Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Godwills Masimirembwa, Lucy Chitaga, Major-General (Rtd) Gibson Mashingaidze, Makhosini Hlongwane, Brilliant Dube and Irene Mutumbwa.
