adminABUJA. — Nigeria on Wednesday said it had arrested a 10-year-old girl with explosives strapped to her body in northern Katsina state, as neighbouring Kano was hit by a female suicide bomber for the fourth time in a week.
“Security forces on Tuesday 29 July . . . arrested three suspects believed to be members of Boko Haram,” including a “10-year-old” girl, government spokesperson Mike Omeri said in a statement.
Meanwhile, a female suicide bomber blew herself up in a college campus in northern Nigeria’s biggest city of Kano, killing three people and critically wounding another seven.
The bomber targeted youths who were looking at a notice board for national youth service in Kano State Polytechnic. — AFP.
